new T46 gt not starting , question

Hi . This is my new build. But it doesn't start. gasoline does not go into the carburetor even with a choke. is the problem in the fuel tank? because I removed one hose from the tank and just plugged the hole in the gromet .. it doesn't even work with open tank . thx

When you push the bubble on the carb a few times, still no gasoline fills the bubble?
Have you tried plugging in a different carb and pumping the bubble a few times to see if it fills?

gt46 uses wj71 carb. it doesn't have a bubble.

Oh I see, didn't know that. If you have another carb, I would still swap it out and see if that fixes the problem.
You can also try reaching out to Mike at Taylor RC. He's been very helpful in the past when I've emailed him with questions.

Make sure the gas line your hooked up to is the one with a clunk. I bet you’re hooked to the return. The carbs prime super easy when there is fuel there.

go to taylor rc site fella, mike has a how to start video for the taylor engines on there in the vids section, the vids also on youtube ,
it can be a bit of a different process to starting a cy or zenoah engine,

Choke it with your hand and you should see fuel rush up the line. That's straight from Mike Taylor when I had my 71cc

hi . it won't start again... gasoline gets into the carburetor when the stack is clog ... but the spark plug is dry. and does not get into the engine. any advice? thx
