Hello ladies and gentlemen, i am Menno from the Netherlands and so far ive had rc cars for over 10 years.
The first non toy like RC i had was a traxxas Stampede 2wd:) afthat that i had an traxxas slash 4x4, e-revo, HPI vorza flux and savage flux and right now i have an Arrma kraton EXB and limitless v1

But since ive grown big i wanna go big and start with an 1/5 rig, ive made a shortlist so far to start nice and easy, can any of you check if i am going the right direction, also keep in mind some part are not that easy to get in the Netherlands, as in no dutch store has it for sale.

Losi 5ive-t 2.0 v2 the blue one
Victory RC Big Bore silenced VRC8704
Spektrum DX5C with SR6100AT receiver ( i know futaba has better ones, but i find 700 euro quite steep for just some fun racing and bashing ) or should i go with an DX5?
Dynamite kill switch DYNE1240 ( does this work? i read here on the forum that an kill switch wont work with AVG ? )
Fuel and 2 stroke oil
Maybe some powerHD servo's for steering and throttle
Shoogoo and drywall tape to strengthen the body.
gensarespammers 2s Lipo

Any other must haves to start with? I usually just drive and upgrade parts when they break, so i don't wanna go full aluminium at the start.

Hello menno.

First off all i am a citizen of the Netherlands to :-).

I would advice not to buy the victory pipe, better take Olimat ore a Samba pipe. I self use a Futaba T4PM with matching reciever and very satisfying with that (arround 250)

Killswitch Dyne1240 i use to, no problems with that.

A use standerd servo arround 80 kg fore steering and brake/throttel arround 80 euro each fore 2 years now, and now problems with that (buy them frome Rovan sport).

Engine is everything fore power and during. Zenoah is the best in mine opinion, i drive a G320F3.

The fist failure i have was the center diff and differentieel, I upgrade them from Taylor RC ( bigger bearings and harder gears.

Hope you good something with that.

Gr Fred.

The op has since edited his list.
i tried to get rid of the ''gensarespammers'', i just type the brand name g3nsace but the forum autochanges it to gensarespammers ??:)

Anyway, is the victory really a bad choice? It seems to be the only exhaust in stock that i can find of those brands, and the samba is around €370,-

I hate the mounting problems with the VRC. The exhaust pipe mounting on the engine has a very short turn, on boult is very hard to mount, you have to adjust the torxs ore inbus key
