Can't wait to see how it does at the Dirty In The Bone race this weekend against the Losi 5ives!! Pretty sure you'll be the only non Losi 4X4.
 
I might be the only red cat there but i can guarantee if my truck had a better driver it would give the losi a run for it's money lol
 
Stock body painted black.

MRCLASSs DR did awesome in the race! Didn't win, but it finished every heat over two days, including the twenty minute final, unlike a lot of the Losi 5ives, my own included! DJMEDIC (RCSPARKS) should have a video out within the next week highlighting the race!

Sweet! I'll keep my eye out for that! Good job on finishing all the heats!

I'm also curious to see what happens with those aluminum arms you have on there. In my experience with 1/10 and 1/8 scale, aluminum arms just transfer impact forces and cause breakage in more expensive parts. However they do allow more control while racing..

Anyway, good luck at the races! Keep us posted!
 
Looks like djmedic edited your DR right out of the race! That's unfortunate.. I was really looking forward to seeing a DR on a track with some 5ives!

Have any issues with those aluminum arms? No cracks in the diff housing or anything?

Looks like that video he released was just of the 2wd class. Hopefully he'll release a video of the 4x4s!

I talked to medic wait for 2 of 2 shock fell off pipe fell off every run ! D/r took a beating but kept going ! Out lasted 2 of my friends losi's another guy out there came with a d/r wasn't going to run it but I had the parts to help fix him up ! Last time I talked to medic he said be don't be in such a rush got 3 days of video to go through ... Last vid was pretty epic sure 2 of 2 will be the same ! Plus going racing tomorrow same place I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't showed up again ?
 
No problem's with the aluminum upgrades yet ( but I know what your saying ! ) my exhaust sucked tho! Fell off ever race ! Got the fast pipe coming for the hpi Baja from ddm going to have to run factory exhaust this weekend

Did you see that new dual bleed jet pro? Made specifically for the DR. the way it mounts I don't think you would have any trouble with it falling off!

I have seen it ! And it looks awesome but I personally prefer a pipe that sits inside the cage and I know jet pro has one coming ! I just couldn't wait . I also don't really understand the duel bleed ? I know you can plug one side off for torque and the other for high speed . Don't how that works , got something to do with back for sure ! I 'm just not that technical I wanna go out and race ! And from my experience when a losi lands on top of you, you want every thing inside the cage !
 
Djmedic2008 posted the video up. Not a whole lot of footage of the dunerunner(s) but at least there is some! Looks like there might have been two of them, unless one was some other 4wd buggy I'm not aware of.

I've heard the dunerunner was supposed to be big, but those 5ives still look HUGE next to them, and running over them.. lol

Anyway, looks like you were keeping up with them for the most part, and good job lasting through the entire event! That's a huge track!
 
Yeah, there were two Dune Runners. MrClass finished and the other fellow got about 2/3 of the way through the final when he lost a nut off the bolt holding the outer tie rod on otherwise he certainly would have finished as well. Was an absolute blast with three days of racing!

The one you see get run over at the start of the video was the other fellow. His was totally stock and a little slow off the line. Did great otherwise.
