I bought a second engine with a walbro and put it into my old engine and it's still the same

Hm I'd say you have an issue with something on your old engine then.

Any oil leak under the engine, or coming from the clutch or flywheel area Indicate a leak. Pressure and vac test to check for leaks. They show up as tuning issues. From what you've been saying you've ruled out the carb.
