No smoke

Just wondering. I ha e a zenoah g320rc
It runs great. But I run castor 927 at 25to1 ratio but no matter how I tune there is no smoke in exhaust. I ran really rich and no smoke at all. I could smell the rich mixture. I ran lean no smoke. I'm just trying to find out why this would happen. All my other motors even another g320 rc all smoke as they should. Lean or rich inget nothing I'm just scared of hurting the motor. Thank you in advance for any help...
 
Don't worry about not seeing smoke, these aren't like the nitro days when smoke was a helpful tuning aid. I run castor 927 too and I have no smoke as well, I've yet to lean seize an engine. Just tune it like normal and have a look at the plug, you want a brown paper bag color.
Only time I get smoke is if the engine sits idling for a bit or when I first fire a new engine from oiling the internals for assembly.

2 strokes are being phased out due to their excessive emissions and one of them is the smoke, modern 2 strokes oils try to minimize the smoke especially in the lawn and garden side of things with ashless oils.
 
Awesome thank you so much. It is just weird because. I have identical motor same fuel and it smokes plugs are light tan on both just a weird observation lol.
And also I have these engines running full throttle they are right about 17,000 rpms is that a good rpm range or should I tune to run lower rpm thanks again.
