Took me four months to wait on the maxinator engine , but let's not even bring up the stupid tmr engine , and no pipe crap , but I'll tell ya one thing this to thread , this picture show , and this problem would not be mentioned if you just went to RC max , or Taylor max , I'm not changing till I get a dam sticker !! 🤣😡

Doesn't matter what style of clip was used. They are all acceptable if installed properly. I've heard of guys clipping the removal tabs off, but that's daft as you scratch up the ring land getting them back out and essentially junk what could have been a good piston. If they were really worried about ring retention they wouldn't be using that style of clip anyway. Should be using a roll lock.

There has been some news on this👍🏻 alx has said he will buy the motor back and give further discounts on a new motor. Since the guy has a few of the parts that make up a new complete motor package 👍🏻. For now it just talk, so id be watching and reporting as things develop 👌🏻
Mate will install this as his kill button🤣Screenshot_20210811-072531_Instagram.webp

This mate of mine is so young 🤔 not as young as our two kids😄🤭 20 and a foreign student so poor as they come 🤦‍♂️ so he really needs all the help he can get👍🏻
I would expect alx to make it right, he's just like Mike when it comes to doing what he can to keep a customer

So from what I understand 🤔 molossi made bushings for the wrist pin (32mm) to make up the full length of the piston which is 49.5 mm 🤦‍♂️ and then some how a 27mm pin was used🤷‍♂️. Now apparently alx has his own custom crank and no longer uses the molossi. So it was doomed from the get go😭 but luckily he will do a complete rebuild with a new clutch and new crank 👍🏻 only thing that will be used from the original motor will be the crank case👍🏻
