The steering rack really is weak and sloppy...I don't know if I should wait for 7075rc fix or just get aluminum one from redcat.

Any suggestions?

Plan on racing this buggy on December 8th, so I need a fix lol.

Was thinking of making a new akerman bar..and running the plastic with some shims to remove slop.

Or get the aluminum one and do the same .

The aluminum version still uses the undersized rod so that would also need to be done.

I used a steering servo link and longer bolts to replace the undersized stock link. Not sure if anyone has tried it yet. Ill try to post a pic.

My plan is to take the team chase bearings with custom grommet off the losi 5ive steering arm and insert them into a piece of carbon fiber for the steering link.

Gonna get some shims to shim the plastic...I really hate the bushings in the bel crank and wanna find some bearings that will fit in there.

I did think of your way too..good idea for sure!

Thank you for sharing.

So.....I took her to the local track and...well it was great for 1 tank...

She jumped very balanced

She handled turns smooth

She was fast

Nutech big bores were nice..rear ones bind a little at full extension

Front diff exploded :( pretty weak for sure.
