OBR 1242 carb Review

So far what I see besides flow,is a pre-nodded carb.
Its a great time saver cause if you ever did these moods yourself like me and several others, its a major PITA😜. Lookin for the spring after it shoots out across your room or workspace sucks.😞
I can definitely see the benefit of the carb. The only questions are flow mods or stock with mods done already,either way definitely a time saver.
We'll have to wait for availability to find out and test.👍
 
I'm guessing because they are suppose to be coming out with their ported version, likely discontinuing the original version

I think they'll have both versions because the mods are useful by themselves.
Since alot of people currently do or want to do these mods. It'll make it simple for those that don't have the skill to perform the mods themselves.
So having a ethanol modded stock version along with a hi-performance ethanol version should be a big seller for them.
It just makes it more accessible for everyone.
Now lets see that 9.4hp become 10.4hp...😉😂😂😂

More air and fuel in, more power. I don't think a stock engine would see much benefit of either of these carbs, but a well ported engine would (should) be quite happy with a bit more airflow and the "extra" fuel will help all around.
