Has anybody tried to remove paint from the inside of a shell and been successful with what did you use. I want to buy a second hand shell and try repainting it.

Haha I thought that might confuse some people. Metho is what we call methylated spirits, or denatured alcohol. I don't think it helped remove the paint but it meant not as much citrus cleaner was needed. In fact I probably only used around 20 ml of the cleaner. Very powerful stuff, and a lot less harsh on the environment than brake fluid etc. What is metho? Methanol? Sounds too much like meth. which isn't advised here stateside! I like the end results though, came out almost factory looking, even if it isn't the color you expected....
