Installed the TR front shock support today. Didn't have time to finish polishing the shock caps yet. It took forever to remove the anodizing from them, and now they need a good buffing.I will post a new pick once I get the buggy back together.

The blue on the TR shock brace is a different shade than the rest of the blue, but I like it so its staying that way.

Got it back together finally. The shock caps were incredibly hard to de-anodize. Ended up glass beading them and polishing them with a brass wire wheel. Here's how it looks assembled without body.

Any good tips on tying the pullcord string? Im putting on a new handle and wanna make sure it stays!

Pull out the cord. Then take a pair of vise grips to keep from the cord from unwinding. Then remove the old handle the slip the new one on the rope tie a double knot and then melt the end of the rope.

Kind of what I planned on doing, want sure though as factory puts 1 knot with a loop through it.

Well, here's where I'm at so far. I did decide to order the TR pull start. I couldn't help it, I think I'm addicted to shiny things!
