Yes i have the sr3000 receiver, the radio and receiver works well just wanted to put a V1 kill switch with it so i can run it on my street.

I use V1's with my dx3.0

you need to go into the main menu by holding both the scroll and channel button at the same time then turn radio on. scroll to AUX. this needs to be set to 2P (2 position switch). GBC is next (grip button control) and set that to 2P. turn the radio off then on. now the black button on the hand grip will activate the kill switch. if you have any more problems then just make sure the AUX epa is set to 100% each way

ya it's much the same. the dx3 you could set that aux to a 3 position (crawler guys liked for rear steer) and I believe there was no channel mixing. otherwise. just need to set the aux to be a switch. rather than off or lap counter ;)
