I prefer the USA measurements like gallons , horsepower, and whatnot becuase that's what I have grown up around, but its definitely outdated as hell, why does scientists (even in the usa) use the metric system? Becuase it works better and that's a fact. . Also the usa education sucks balls becuase they work their kids for far too long, and not enough play time (kids need to have a release, sitting in a classroom for almost 8 hours straight isnt good at all). For example, Look at Finland, they have like 15 mins if recess every hour, and work half as much as we do, and still outperform us in every way, statistically speaking. I'm sorry you cant get over your cute little patriotism.

I'll keep my standard system, it worked just fine for many many many years. Im being dead serious leave this country as soon as possible. It's not all the easy street life is so great sunshine that's been pounded up your arse. Sweden for example had nearly a 50% tax rate, great schools and no jobs worth a fek. All brought to you by socialism, how most of the world works. I would want loads of breaks and all the "free shite" I can get my hands on, and teach my kids to be lazy feks too. Amazing how far we've sank as a society.

Can't help it all made in China mate, I don't like it one bit. But you would all get sick of me converting to imperial for every measurement, which btw is more accurate then the metric system. Show me the equivalent to 1/3 in commi denominators? You lazy feks just couldn't master fractions so you had to divide everything up by tenths. It ok, I get it. It's super hard to use.

for one this has literally nothing to do with socialism, capitalism, or communism.
And second, somecases, less is more. Just becuase your work less doesn't always mean you accomplish less. For example, My dad has worked his ass off for the last 40 years at a job (went to college and everything), and he is nowhere near a millionaire or whatever. Comparatively, his friend, whom I've met, has worked less then my dad, yet lives in California (far higher living cost then illinois), owns more property, cars, and owns his own businesses which he can sell off for alot if need be . I'm not dogging on my dad, and he makes great money , and lives a good life , he also hates his job. It's you have to work smart, not just hard. I don't expect free poop at all, but working your ass off for little benefit, like what happens in the usa education system, is dumb as poop. You really need to look into the flaws of this country. It's not as perfect as the right winger Patriots always say and shove up everyone's ass.

you have more divisors with the imperial system, meaning it's easier to measure with a unit of 12 rather then 10. Divisors by 10 you have 2 and 5.
Divisors of 12 you have 2,3,4, and 6. Metric is for lazy people. Yep its easier, and takes less to remember to use it, just not quite as accurate.

Every day I go to work at my cousins shop, I see the bum ass neighbors leaching off the system, waiting for the next welfare check, guess what they figured the system out, that why people like your dad and me bust our fricken asses every day.
