Paging @Seandonato73 .. im no expert in 2 strokes. BUT I can say a smaller port where the exhaust starts it journey is probably not going to get as much of the exhaust gases out as it should and its not optimizing the full potential of a "tuned" pipe and also using the most out the exhaust stroke. from what I've been told a long time ago an exhaust is as big as the smallest diameter . also this pipe will most likely give you something over a stock can and depending how large the flange is with how close the welds are to the inside of the pipe you can probably port it with a Dremel with a standard gasket as a template to see how much to remove.
