so is there any real gains mounting then like that?

Bikers would do it because it puts the shock piston in any trapped air at full extension when control isn't as vital. Now when the (upside down) shock is compressed there's less chance of encountering an air pocket and causing the damper to become upset when you need it most.

Spot on bud,,,,,,I used to race an 8th scale Sepent pan car (nitro)years ago & we all had our shocks upside down for that exact reason.

When you have a car that sits 10mm off the ground and does anything up to 140kmh,,,,,,,control is vital.

With an off road car though, the threads are going to cop a hiding from being so low,,,,,so good shock sox are a must!

Simply beautiful! Love the idea of the XTR brakes. Even went top shelf there too.

I don't even have XTR brakes on my Mountain bike !!!!!!!!!!!

But seriously that is some of the nicest fabrication work ive seen !!! WOW !
Keep us posted with more Pics !

How about a Lotus Elise next ???? !!! I just LUURRRRVE them !

My friends ,

Lotus7 must stop at once .So these brakes are ok.

60cc ? Lotus7 weight will be ,no more than 13kg with 27cc engine and about
4 ,5 - 5hp. 13/5 =2,6 kg/hp .Do you think that 2,6kg/hp isn't enough ?
Lotus7 (1/1 ) is a lightweight car (550 kg) with 150hp (3,6 kg/hp).

60 cc engine weight 4kg more and this is not good, except .... burn out .

Maybe it is a good idea an engine 27 cc , with 6,5 - 7,5 hp ,like this one.
