Hi, recently I replaced pullstart pawl because it was buggered/eaton away from my dodgy starting method (I know how to start properly now) but I don’t know which order the little wing washer and the big flat washer go or I’m doing something wrong because it won’t engage at all now not even slightly. Any suggestions?

In this hobby its best to just keep a new spare pullstart in stock. don't spray or put anything in them. Just keep them clean and dry.

Spring first wing washer then big washer. Also your spring could have broke or the end of the spring could of opened up and unhooked from the housing or the pulley.

Spring on the pulley is all good, it’s literally just trying to get the pawl to extend out. Will double check my order and see how it goes

I run aluminum pawls just because the flywheel is harder than the plastic and your asking alot from the plastic to forcefully turn the aluminum flywheel so over time it just gets banned up.
