Yes 5ive-t is awesome platform and very reliable.

They have 2 in stock. The V2 has a different receiver and that is it.

Thanks for finding one in stock, never heard of these guys, is this store legit ? I sent them an email asking for stock verification
5t is a tank I can vouch for that... built well and takes a good ass whooping without breaking.. plus the benefit of being able to get the 30dnt big flex body thats indestructible. Better pipe selection wider variety of aftermarket parts and the 5t aftermarket is strong the dbxl I think is a narrow aftermarket
For $1399 you think you would get a decent tuned pipe, but instead you get a chainsaw box muffler, eh oh well that won't be a deal breaker. I'm mainly concerned with parts support, being able to ask questions here and getting good info on WHAT parts fit and what won't from you guys, and lastly the durability.

I am in CA and I still had to pay taxes sucks for me.

Well go for it. Get yourself a new 5ive t. Best color also.

I got a new 7pxr to go with your new ride if your interested.

I own both right now , after upgrading shocks and steering servos in both , there is no winner I love both trucks , but that Vekta is a mud slingn animal 🤣
Thx, i do like the build quality of the Vekta, but im leaning a bit towards the 5ive simply because of oem and aftermarket parts support. I like to first run my stuff stock, identify the weak points , then upgrade as necessary. From all the feedback here sounds like either one is solid choice.

For the vekta I'd say reps build is the absolute minimum for upgrades. The 5ive t is pretty much good to go out of the box.

I recently added an aluminum front diff case as the plastic one started to let the differential bearings spin in the case and it got sloppy. I think your skill level is appropriate for the vekta and the other thing that's annoying is having to unbolt the body from the vekta everytime but I prefer that over the quick release setup as the cage seems a bit flimsy and needs to be bolted to keep it from snapping if it rolls.
