can some1 explain to me how every1 is melting these aluminum pipes? i hav multiple nitros and all hav aluminum pipes none of them hav melted and they run alot hotter than my xb motor.

it happens when you run on the ragged edge of too lean. i have never melted an aluminum pipe before. i have crushed a few like pop cans but never melted one
 
rcdad: did u just make the exhaust flange or buy it somewhere? i hav no problem making 1 just wondering.

It's the flange that came on the pipe. I cut it off and added more pipe to lengthen it.
