2wd and 4wd is separate. Some races weren't that exciting to watch, really depends on the track and what others can bring for competition (stupid comment right? lotta different setups!). Sick of seeing all the Traxxas adverts all over the place, but then again, they are getting the hobby out there.


However... CORR, went bankrupt in 08 :D Now we have "TORC" and Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, or LOORRS


Looks like Renezeder is with LOORRS

nov 08, but I think someone else bought them and Lucas Oil, Bullydog and a few other sponsors contributed.
 
There have been so many changes to off road racing lately, I dono who is who and what class is the "bees knees"... which series is the "best".


Lucas Oils used to have "World series" off road and what not. I wish it'd all stabilize!
 
WOW, I'm lost I guess.......I hate how everything is sanctioned and limited.....per se the Indy 500....now that was exciting...NOT!!!!!.....follow the leader....restrictor plate racing....so, back to the original thoughts on this post.....I really DON'T think the Rampage w/ 4x4 had an advantage....I've noticed that in a straightline my front wheel "wash" really hinders traction in the rear.......just like the 28.5 or 30.5cc.....change your gearing......I've known a few racers (dragster, dragbike, moto-x, carts, SCCA) and they just don't talk about their "set-up".....because everyone has the same rig!

I'm watching a race right now, World Series of Off Road Racing, 2WD, 4X4 and Prostock 4X4 ALL in the same race......NOW that's funny!
