Your the first it's because of spiral cut gears in gear box they are hard to hold straight and in plastic case and a little heat they skip over teeth and push out front of case did you change anything center diff to a spool or fulid to heavier or big motor
I hope you did if not it's my worst fear about this car we were given a 1/8 nitro truck and it had them and every time you hit a big jump and had to hit brakes in the air to bring front of truck down they would skip over or land from jump and have to hit brakes they would do what yours just did

I will admit to having a tuned 26cc engine and a 6 shoe clutch to give me loads of drive out of corners. Perhaps that was a mistake. I am hoping there will be a solution out there somewhere.

Some one will fix it that's for sure just be carful landing from jumps with full power on or locking up wheels in air and landing with them locked of course it could be a one off thing bad part I hope so anyway

I can't wait for new diff cases and more aluminum parts.

You have no choice to wait for the diff. case, yours has a pinion peeking out of it! Is that bearing still spinning free? Looks like it may have spun in the holder. Could just be a bad bearing too.....

Sorry, forgot to post reply. I spoke to Horizon Hobby in the UK, they asked me to send in the diff so they could inspect it. Turns out one of the bearings seized causing damage to the plastic casing, the ring gear and the bearing. It was all repaired and sent back to me within a week, all done under warranty. This is why I like to buy from HH.

Thanks for the help guys..

That's from landing from big jump or bump and hitting breaks it spiral cut gears when you put brakes on it pushes drive shaft forward lube will not help that

Just realized the bad bearing is the inner one. Kinda hard to maintain regularly:/ these can't be the greatest quality bearings either coming in an rtr. Think I might bite the bullet and get ceramic bearings for the diff pinion shafts.

Yeah I was. idk what happened tbh... i thought ceramic for these 4 bearings also...who knows. it seems the gear casings are all back ordered lol.. already emailed horizon. woohoo!
