Rear Diff input drive

Hey I ran into the chipper by my pile of loam u made for the track and my rear center shaft came out, it was a pretty hard hit, nothing else damaged and I put the Bart alloy center supports on, I got to looking at the flex back there and it seemed to be flexing past the brace toward the mill, I wish that plate was the same thickness as the 5ive, , I'm seeing a couple strong backs between the braces bolted to the plate, RPM has a large scale bearing blaster now, awesome I user to be a fan of syn bearing oil but now Mobile One Syn motor oil if wet and muddy they all get cleaned just dirt and dust I'll blow them out between tanks and pull them after 4
 
I hope I'm wrong but I don't think I am I had a 1/8 truggy with spiral cut gears and it was always doing that pushing the bearing out the front or skipping over teeth in the gear box
The front box would skip over teeth and drive the pinion gear to one side and the bearing would stick out on one side and flush on the other side of gear box [emoji47]
 
My Durango DEX408 has spiral cut gears and never an issue and I beat it to death, those bearing on the DBXL lock into the diff holder pretty good, had to be a melt down of a bearing to melt away the grooves , that may be a good spot for a Hostile boot for a baja, they are bigger, fill it with grease and cover the shaft U joint and the outer bearing, could be worth a try, my 5ives all have alloy diff cups, had one stocker melt down, had to replace the rear diff case, that was when I went to all Modified RC diffs with the turbine in the center, that hurt ever sense I've been Joe overkill on diff service, those bearing I clean and pack with red bearing greese, hi temp, same stuff I use on the trailer bearings, no more issues, the 2 bearings in the diff holder and the 2 on the short shaft support are going to need constant attention packed with greese not oil, oil is good on the wheels because it's easier to clean out and refresh. That's my .02 on the subject.
