what should they be proud of ? I hear you ask............
ME
as most of you know i have been competeing in the british nationals and doing very well i might add (talk about blowing your own trumpet!!).
well last weekend i made the 700mile round trip to race at the nook raceway,
only to find i was racing against 2 mcd ultimates 1 fg baja 4wd and an mcd evo3.
OMG those mcd"s were awsome looking machines and me ole brown eye started blowing kisses.
in the morning i fitted my brand new one piece engine mount and my brand new steel gears. NOW i was ready to kick some ass but 2 mins into the first heat my car emitted a sound like a nail gun locked on full auto, and it stopped in the middle of the track with all revs and no go.
i got her back to the pits and looked for damage but everything seemed ok
that is until i removed the gear cover to find this

well that was it it looked like i was out of the race, but one of the mcd lads offered me some plastic gears to get me back racing. so after a quick re-build i was back for the second heat and my god did i come back, after the heats i was down to fourth on the final grid but after a hard fought final i manged to get second place.
results are here

well so what its only second not first!!!!
BUT the 99 points that i gained have now brought my total up
infact just to really blow my trumpet
IAM NOW

iam officially no1 in britain in the 4wd class.
and i have to attend the brca AGM to recive the trophy
hopefully in a redcat shirt eh rob?
SO WELL DONE REDCAT
now all ive got to do is retain it next year!!!
