Reed valve vs regular carb

Hey all new to the 1/5 scale trade my question is the reed motys,are they worth the extra cash$ more punch maybe???thanks,have a killer day

It's generally understood that reed engines have more torque and are generally more efficient as they don't cough a bit out of the carb like a piston port engine. Both are good it just depends on what you want out of the engine.
