I have a standard '3rd channel' kill switch running off a spekky Rx with built in failsafe on all channels, it kills then engine when:
RX power loss
TX power oss
Signal lost
Low Rx battery
I flick 3rd channel
Can't start the engine without TX and RX power and 3rd channel in correct place. I can't think of any eventuality that isn't covered, but as a few have said above, it depends on your radio kit and you many not be able to get everything covered.
Incidentally, I want to use my 3rd channel for a reversed 2nd servo, but can't because then I won't have anywhere for the kill switch. I can't replace it with a '2channel' kill switch either because the spekky has a failsafe that will over-ride it. Because of this I think i'm going to end up with some odd linkage route for the front brakes, or may sell both of my hitec 645MG and get a single savox 20kg.
yeah that works well i just got a pair of tamiya battery plugs and done it that waysaves hassle when removing engine fault finding ectHe has made the 2ch one for spek now huh? I have a v2 that is for non failsafe types here.
another tip. put a mini deans plug inline on the wire from switch to kill switch. if you need to start the rc without any power on, or to trouble shoot you can unplug the kill switch
Killer Bee do 1 now that you can add to a 'used' channel for 2ch sets or a 3ch set up where all 3 are in use :cool2:
