Well....i see you guys had fun while i was away
Today i finally had time to do my 2nd tank.
Gearing is 20/54.
WT- 771 - popoff 16psi.
Needle settings - L: 1+1/8 - H: 1+5/8

Struggeling a bit with tire grip.
Motor is pulling alot better with the popoff mod. Almost no delay anymore.
Also the way the motor is starting, idling, and rolls off rpm when trigger is released is alot better. Before rpm rolloff did take some seconds.

14.5 psi ??, i just cut the stock spring

The pulse from the case opens the popoff valve and lets gas into the carb, basicly.
Think of it as the pulse from the case is activating petrol pump inside the carb. ? See below

the pop off valve fills up the small pot that the needle jets feed off of , If the pot starves the needle feed range will get hurt by lean hits. Now if your RESEAT psi is to low you will flood the meter res pot and a very rich positive psi unmetered flow will happen. The best you can shoot for is a 13psi pop off and a 10 psi reseat .
