Routing taillight wires w/pipe

I just got my DDM v2 pipe. I want to keep my taillights but am uncertain how/where to reroute my wires so they don’t melt. Anyone have any advice?

Pictures would help where the tail lights are mounted is also hard to figure out since there are so many different ways to do it

Can you take the top off and take a pic looking down so we can see the obstructions?

Teflon wire loom. Good to 260c/500f.

I'll try tomorrow. I think the teflon loom might work. Everything on the Baja is just more difficult than the Losi!

@sigfla I forgot got to mention that when teflon melts it releases toxic fumes. You should be fine for radiant heat from the exhaust. Just be careful that it doesn't make direct contact with the exhaust to be on the safe side.

I do know why I didn't think of this first. I use it all the time when repairing fusion irons for the natural gas industry.

Much more flexible. The drawback is that it will get dirty, it could fray on you, and it will turn brown with direct contact to heat source.
I also wrap with fiberglass tape.

I ended up just going over the pipe. I'll add the shielding later since I need to clean up the wiring a bit anyway. All I can say about the pipe is WOW. I noticed an immediate perceived increase in low end power and torque. It is loud as heck as well.
