Hi guys, i've just ran my MT which i've built from bits, brand new engine and servo's etc. This was the second time running it, the first was for 5 mins and all appeared fine.
My rhino steering servo wouldn't work, connectors are in right way round, end points set up previously by someone who knew what they were doing and nothings ridiculously tight.
I ran it for a moment, didn't touch the steering at all, and then noticed smoke! as no body shell on. Turned everything off immediately and let it cool, now i've tried the servo on its own and appears dead? I know it was probably stupid to run it like that.
The first time i went to use it, it appeared dead as well. Went back to it and it worked? Thought i might have done something to it, but now im thinking otherwise...
The first time though(and now) i may not have had a fully charged battery which i thought could have explained the possible deadness, but it shouldnt have anything to do with it getting hot enough to cook dinner on!
Any thoughts please peoples? Sorry for long post...
