ah thats funny, i just added these to mine, how they work? i haven't taken em out inlaws here and they are real churchy so there not into it

yes they do i have one on mine, also a angled shredstack intake. you will have to readjust needles cuz this setup flows a lil more air in. i really think mine has a lil more hp now than stock.

You will notice that there's a thick teflon gasket, instead of the normal paper one ..... ?
This is because this is normally called 'the insulator block.
Alloy is not an amazing insulator and will transmit heat from the engine to the carburettor, which is not a good thing, hence the thick PTFE gasket.
Not certain if it is a good thing - looks good and that's about it.

PS I have one on my FG MT for that reason - looks good.

i8f installed and torqued corectly the teflon makes a good gasket, but bolts need to be evenly torqued as you tighten them or you risk a spot that might leak air.
