Good morning . Doing some work on my vekta 5 . Does anyone know how tight I should make the slipper clutch ?

Just built an lse, book says fully tighten then loosen 1/4 turn. As for testing and what works best not sure yet

i don't know that i'd do it all the way, isn't it supposed to protect the drivetrain?

Anyone see a book for vekta.5 E, I think might use the same set up, pretty sure 12s lipo will match hp and torque of any gas engine, when we see a spec of how tight to make it that should be the answer.
No book for vekta.5 E, but for the gas to electric conversion it just says the slipper and spur are the same as gas, no mention of changing the tightness. Trial and error will be the guide for how tight and what breaks if it's run full tight. But the previous comment of running full tight may come from that experience

Your truck is banana$$$$$ I liked the old color scheme too but this is a perfect match for the motor.
