took a flysky gt3 and removed the wheel and got a hobbywing crawler brushed speedo and the took the power section of slot track and reworked to work with 2 wire input. used a 2c 8000mah lipo to power the setup. this system has way more options than any slotcar set controler you can get and you can walk around track without being plugged in by hand control wires. you can adjust the punch , brakes, drag brake , drive freq , brake freq , throttle curve , and top speed cap and brake cap . the motors run way cooler and have a ton more punch on a lipo. We run a large 124/132 track style and run mostly 1/32 NSR cars with very hot mod motors. This is the need for speed fix for the long winter months. We can even hookup very hot KOFORD wingcars on this track with this system running drag arms in cans. We buy up all the track we can off ebay and every 15 sections or so we power up this section back to master power source so there is no loss in volt or amp and track is as fast at start and the same 200+ sections out . The NSR chassis is as tuneable as any 1/12 carpet car and just as fast.

I remember slot car racing when I was a kid with my uncle. As far as I know there aren't any tracks around me anymore. Sad.

I too ,the track that was in my home town was huge ,took up the whole hobby store center floor an it was about 2 1/2 ft wide with
a long straight & a bunch of S curves ,I use to have a slot car ,but was not my thing back then!
