I just tried to order a cooper from my fav fg shop (advance). none in stock and they had to order the parts seperate. $175. not bad until they said special order from germany and shipping was $300 to get it to their shop, then shipping and taxes to me, pre paid as well. umm still looking thanks. I only wish the vac former I picked up yesterday was big enough for 5th scale bodies.... soon though, just need to make some mods :D
 
maybe a change in bmw shell found a old skoll one bit more money but a lot more car im thinking orange with carbon effect bonnet roof and boot and jagermister stickers and black wheels

found it on rcbodyshop.fr they got some classic shells on there mate not to badly priced as there not common body shells be nice to have somthing a bit different im not to sure on the colours or shell yet ive got all next year to sort it out
 
got the shocks sorted from ebay set of 4 with 4 pairs of upgrade springs all for £30+p+p maybe a change of plans bodywise thinking of the mcd vw t5 van as its 535 wb plus ive been making a trailor for the beetle so i might make it just to haul my beetle around as there is a big shortage of places to run on roads here but i could in theory use mcd rally wheels and tyres and use it on grass but i think a van and trailor with my bug on the back would look mega cool
 
not posted on here for a bit bin sorting parts out slowly with xmas in the way got chassis and shocks and rear carbon brace for xmas slowly starting to look something now got a couple more bits coming from ebay diff raisers and rear body support bodyshell has had deposit paid will tell you more when its here and mine but was a bargain i couldnt refuse now im 100% sure which way im going with it i can sort out other parts found a rollcage to go with bodyshell thats the first thing on the long list then ive got to switch back to the bug as its i need of some lovin in the form of handset hpi wheel swap once thats sorted im 100% back to this ive also decided not to hold back on this car i want all alloy and carbon exept wishbones i think im going to get plastic for them engines sorted but in the beetle until ive built up a new one for the bug but got carb casings air filter need crank bearings seals headkit pipe hopefully this time next year i can use it

cheers its starting to take shape now got couple more bits from ebay today diff raisers and touring car rear body mount its cool now able to set it out on the floor started looking like a car now this so far has been easyer than the bug build as i know what i want from day one were on the bug i built it mostly in plastic the changed it all to alloy which cost me more im only getting parts for this that are staying on it and not building twice the money that saes alone will help out as all the carbon bit i want cost over 300/400 if i go for them all front shock mount and tower/rear tower/side bars/chassis ones/body side supports/battery holder/tps air filter/plus a carbon rear wing for the bodyshell its going to take me ages but its a part of the hobby i enjoy is building them plus you can spread the cost out body shells next cant wait
 
nope somebody made me a offer i couldnt refuse on a new shell but aint giving nowt away till its here paid a deposit paying the rest soon then when its here i put a pic up then add more as i paint it no ideas yet as to colours or designs but want it simple but effective
 
no that wernt trebors one that was another i was watching it never sold i think were he put ive rubbed it down ready for painting put me off bet it was scratched to bits inside ive only ever washed them and dryed then painted not rubbed it down i may do a step by step paint thread
 
i think rossmods had that one not a bad price at £105 plus postage but i don't think it came with the rear spoiler just the front bumper.where the one trebors selling me has the spoiler and hes also got a vodaphone decal sheet to go with it and for the price he offerd it to me for is a bargain for sure and has helped me out big time plus its a body i never even thought about getting but one i realy like the look of
