glad to hear ur ok was starting to worry.like the monster came to life and took u out and went on a killing spreeystill haven't managed to try out the new axles, went from soaking wet straight to 25deg+ and sun, so took my boat out instead:sailor: . everywhere was a dust bowl after 2 days so kinda parked until the next rain ..
had tme to get the jeep out yet moo.still haven't managed to try out the new axles, went from soaking wet straight to 25deg+ and sun, so took my boat out instead:sailor: . everywhere was a dust bowl after 2 days so kinda parked until the next rain ..
sorry to hear that ,must be frustrating take it out and rip on your lawn or better yet your next door neibors lawn.not yet. still hot, sunny and extremely dusty
did u weld up the flat on the pinion gear to mooso far the ring and pinions are holding up but it's only had a tank thru it so far but considering i've snapped the axles twice and stripped gears then they weren't the weakest link...now i've strengthened the axles and welded up the shaft flats we'll see how the pinions hold up next time out....
for your build with the weight of a 170cc motor and heavy tires etc i'd look for maybe something a bit beefier, something in module 2.5 or 3...
TBO I've had nothing but good service from Vancouver hobbies, Scott is a good friend of mine so am surprised you had a problem.
