After much research & speaking with the guys directly at FID, these are ally parts what will fit the DBXL 2.0 (GAS). if you look at there ebay store pretty much every part is available as a hopup for both electric & gas versions of the DBXL 2.0.

ive ordered the above but delivery will be a while as im in UK! ..im awaiting to hear back form them regarding the radio tray they sell as im not sure if it will fit both servos or just the steering servo!?

@tizdaz Thanks a lot for putting this list together! Waiting for your report on the quality and functionality of the FID parts especially on the diif housing and case!
 
I found out that the rubber boot in the front center drive universal joint is broken and torn. I checked the other rubber boots and they were all in perfect condition. It is a bit premature for this rubber boot to fail, considering that I have only been running the DBXL 2.0 for a few tanks only. I suspect it could have been improperly installed at the factory and could have some damage already. I would like to ask DBXL owners what is the typical life time of their rubber boots? Thanks

The only non-torn one on mine is the rear/center drive shaft one. Most of the other ones torn within like the first few weeks of ownership. I wouldn't really bother with replacing it unless you want the piece of mind. Mine have been fine being torn for quite a few gallons so far.
 
hi guys, quick update ...

Ive began to fit the parts,

Suspension Arms are excellent, solid & fit with no issues so far.

The Hubs are a no-go! ..the FID hubs are about 3mm thicker than the stock ones, so you cant use the stock drive cup as the pin hole to attach the wheel hex do not line up!

I purchased the hubs with the FID Extenders & came with FID drive cups this solves the problem of the pin holes lining up, but the issue now is the FID pin holes are 5mm & the stock is 4mm, and the FID shaft pin also is too small to fit the stock dogbone of the 2.0!

So as it stands, the FID hubs seem to be a no go, ive emailed where i bought them from & also FID racing as both advertise that they fit the 2.0 gasser...which they don't!

So i may well be returning the hubs for refund & i will purchase the Vitavon Hubs as these i believe are a straight swap wit hthe stock so will work with the stock drive system etc.

As soon i get make a start on the rest, will keep you updated.

just an update,

I have been speaking directly with the guys at FID in China regarding the FID hubs for the DBXL 2.0.

I have sent them pics & info regarding the issue & they have said they are going to send me some different cups!

The issue was that i mentioned in my previous post about the FID hubs was the Dogbone slit on the FID cups that come with the hubs was too small for the 2.0 dogbone pin. The 2.0 shafts use a 5mm dogbone pin whereas im guessing the DBXL 1.0 used 4mm dogbone pin?

So the cups that come with the hubs are for the DBXL v1.0.

So hopefully the cups they send me will fix this! ..will keep you guys posted anyway!
