i'm asking if it's worth spending money on a new spektrum radio or use the 2.4 mhz that comes with the aeroplane instead of buying the new spektrum radio..thanks.....excuse the capitals....shynot sure what your asking?:helpsmilie:
thank you spererainterference wise you wont have a problem, what a spekky will let you do is make allot of fine adjustment that stock radio's wont do. So if you want to fine tune get the spekky, if your planning on getting more toys and want to use one radio get the spekky.
If its just a temp hobby that you will take out now and again stock to the stock unit.
THANK YOU Dwarfy i've gotten my reply I was looking for...shyMay be worth changing your servos if they are the stock units. A few with the KM buggys have experienced problems with the stock servos and had runaways. You would be looking at a total loss with a plane![]()
Thanks so much Brawnas i understamd it, spektrum are owned by Horizon Hobby, who also own lots of model making companies. So when you get a 2.4ghz with a RTR model, it's often just a Spektrum radio with a different label and a few features removed.
I agree with Sperra, if you are going to get into aircraft in a big way, get the radio with all the frills, if not, the stock one will heep you amused.
