yeah true that, if traxxas have bought out an upgrade for it im guessing it happens pretty often.

have a look in the book if it has a X with the part number it means they have made and upgrade for it ive noticed they have a few of them with the merv manual

finally got my mannual off my mate today so will go over it during the week.

ran three lipos on sat at f/gully rd track, no more slippage from the clutch and didnt break anything, and it copped an absolute hiding, sorry no vids though.

did some temp testing after a nice gentleman let me use a 5000mah 40 c lipo 2s, lasted allot longer than my 4000mah 30c 2s and the motor temp was 60 at hottest point and the esc was in the high thirties so all working well very happy.

ran four lipo's on sat, other than a shock bolt pull out of the mount which threaded back in no breakages, man i love this thing.

ok a bit of an update for future plans for the slash.

here's what i got on order.

king headz motor mount (larger bearing to cope better with heat)
king headz bush alloy
traxxas radio tray for rustler (mounts on the front instead of middle to alloy for longer motor)
traxxas esc mount (to move from rear to front to alloy for fatter motor)
tenshock 150amp esc
teckno 4600kv brushless motor

that should get this thing going a bit faster
