Is there any other large scale stands out there besides the axis one? The red cat stand i hear is kinda flimsy.

The ridged stand, and many other home brews have been covered a few times. Try the search function out and see what you can find. There was a guy that used the axis top plate and attached it to a much cheaper stand that ended out working really well.

I'm not a fan of the rigid stand because you can't get to the bottom bolts. If your not looking to be able to flip or turn the car around the best bang for your buck will be the keyboard stand. If you want similar but not same as the axis stand then the diy speaker stand works.

I am sure the rigid stand can be modified. Ill probably be the first dumbass to try and fail

I modified my rigid stand. I got the axis Rc chassis plate and a 7/8 square tubing to fit the rigid stand.

Buy a cheap stand but save for an axis Rc stand they are amazing and one of the best purchases you can make in fifth scale?

it'll take me some time to get everything i need but think I'm gonna go with the rigid stand an make my own plate for the rampage and fit a too/parts tray under it.

I too have one on order, seems like the easy and fairly priced way to start.

I'm assuming the top is plastic so if it is ill make diagram of my chassis and cut it upto fit. And figure a way to hold the truck

The axis plate it metal. Although if your plastic is thick enough I don't think there would be an issue
