So the modded 990 has bearings holding the throttle shaft vs the stock has bushing, the bushing don't wear out fast so the modded 990 imo is not worth the extra $20. These are the 2 air filters that I would run

The first one doesn't require a velocity stack and it looks cooler lol
The second one needs a velocity stack and is really bulky

Personally I'd go for the aluminum one becuase its easier it does cost alittle more tho, also if you do get that aluminum one make sure to oil the inside element which can be accessed by removing the three screws on top

If you go for the bulky second one, don't get the ddm velocity stack becuase the one that I liked has a small lip potruding from the back so the air filter doesn't slide back and suck in dirt
Here's the velocity stack I recommend

OK....SO WITH THE 990 CARB THE 1ST ONE (BILLET) WILL FIT DO I NEED TO BUY ANY GASKETS FOR THE CARB & FILTER OR THEY COME WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO INSTALL.

Was working on the car yesterday I took out the kill switch and put a new spark plug and was driving all day but later on it started to get sluggish was driving slow then shutting down

I've been playing with the the hi- lol needles it seems to be running good don't think I'll need a new carb at least for now lol.. but well see would like to put in a bigger motor soon something from OBR
