awsome! What steering servos u buying? Also I have a question, so the deal of the day is the scorpion chassis for the Baja for 20 bucks less, sould I get it what's your opinion?

I'm going to try JX 20kg servo, bought them awhile back.
Is there something wrong w urs? Solid chassis is heavy and doesn't look cool, Imo. Rather spend $65 on something else.

Yeah i got that from someone else ? welp gonna buy more engine stuff ? never tried jx servos before, wanna see how this turns out hopefully they're good cuz they're not expensive at all. ?

Ill think about it. I hate the stock chassis cuz it's open but do i want a new chassis right now? Mmmmmm decisions decisions ?

Works pretty good on my Colossus, a little better than stock. Colossus needs higher torque servo, front tires are much bigger than Baja.

Really? Dang, never seen a Colossus irl. Must have some torque that's for sure ?

Too much power on 6S, but better air control. I run both 4 and 6S. It'll flip on its roof from standing still (6S). ?. I installed wheelie bar, no help.

Tires are twice the size.

Rampage has 2 steering servos.

Can't go wrong w that brand. Question, high voltage means you can't use power from receiver?

Not sure I understand what you mean. The servo is running off the battery in my receiver box, 6v I think. To get the max out of it if I understand correctly I would need to switch my battery over to a 7.4v

Kinda new to RC. To my understanding, receiver output voltage is less than 7.4 v. In order to run hv servos, wouldnt need external power source, BEC?

The servo seems to be working fine so far at 6v when I set it up. Still need to take it out and give it a good romp yet . Just got the buggy all back together last thursday. It's been raining a bit lately .

Been raining a lot lately in Texas. Barely had a chance for break-in cycles. Luckily, yesterday was nice enough to complete my break-in, at least for Baja. Rampage throttle servo started to glitch on its high speed cycle. That reminds me to buy kill switches.?.

Ya probably don't want a 30-40 pound truck hitting someone or something cuz. My Baja throttle servo went out while i was driving, luckily I got it back before I had a runaway
