Hi guys, i've recently put my MT back together, after about 8 months of it being in bits (never found the time thanks to uni)
I bought a Castle link BEC as i fried a new rhino last year, and also a killerbee killswitch.
I put the killswitch on and the damn thing wouldn't start, after a while of messing around i found a broken solder joint connecting the green connector block on the switch
I've sorted that out thanks to MMR, but at the time i used an old failsafe i had which previously worked fine.
I've now got a problem (with or without the failsafe) of the receiver(and BEC) LED occasionally blinking from red to green, giving no power to any servos, except a new brake servo which tries to go round and round one way in stages.
This whole issue has caused some pain, as before i knew the problem i was running it and lost control of throttle and brakes, only had steering, and ended up using myself to stop it (well i didn't want to damage it!) lol, i now have a bent kcr front bar courtesy of my ankle :w00t:
I'm still unsure of how that happened, as when the receiver and BEC lights blink red and green, i get no power anywhere, yet i had steering?
Failsafe issue maybe? though it was tested before it was taken out.
I don't have another futaba receiver, though i might nick the g/f's annsman w3 and try that.
I've shortened the Y harness i used, i'll be double checking that as well. BEC is set at 5.8 volts.
It won't be going anywhere until i'm confident i've found the problem.
Any suggestions peoples?
Thanks
James
