Temporary Exhaust Hose

I am waiting on a bartolone pipe but meanwhile I am trying to reroute the exhaust. I had a 12" hose feeding out the back end held by hose clamp. Now the exhaust is blowing the hose off. Not sure if I should by 1 meter hose from DDM to see if that will help or do you guys have other ideas?

pipes probly gone crusty inside an aint gripping no more...?
.chop off a few inches n see if that works?

I drilled holes through the outlet hoping that the hose would protrude in to the outlet once clamped. It didn't work. The hose came off every 5 minutes.

Here, @Bryan K. used JB Weld to make a ridge the secure the hose. I think it worked for him. https://www.largescaleforums.com/threads/silicon-heater-hoses-with-original-canister-exhausts.23968/
