Esp motors are good but a 27.2cc is tiny, gunna have no torque for a heavy 5t
Its a earlier ESP engine,should rev like crazy and with decent power.?

Yeah, that thing will rap out like gangbusters, but you'll lose a lot of torque going down to a 27cc.

27 is a bit small, but I wouldn't discount it. I run a 29cc in my MTXL (significantly larger than a 5) and absolutely love it. It flies imo.

The mtxl weight 2 lbs more then the 5ive t and is geared way lower. No comparison. The 29 came in the older 5ives and was a total pooch.
my 5ive came with a fresh zen29...?..have to say it was disappointing ☹....an my mtxl came with a fresh zen29....again not impressed?........way to heavey for said engine imo?

The 5t isn't spinning 4 bowling balls for tires, it is comparable. Plus you can change the 5t's gearing to better match the motor. The point is that motor can work. Wasn't long ago a 27 was a decent size.

Like I said the mtxl is geared stupid low. don't get but hurt about it. No comparison. Toss the dbxl tires on the mtxl and you'll see what I mean. No top end. Im not saying a 27 is a bad engine, just a step back from the g320 he has in it. The 29 in the 5ive platform, the constant complaint was, this thing is slow, no power, blah blah, horizon actually took a que from this and gave us the engine everyone was upgrading to.
