Well, fed up as I was with the (lack of) grip, I got some DDM Kold Kutters and screwed them into the tyres.
This was actually my first run since upgrading the steering and brakes, but the fun was on the (lunar surface-like) hardended ice / snow - GREAT FUN!!

Only ran her for 10 minutes as I was in shorts and sandals!!
Hopefully when the missus comes out of hibernation I may take some more photos with roosters!
Don't think I lost any screws - and will have to cheack as these will definitely puncture a real tyre, eventually!!
In doing this I also found out POSSIBLY why I was doing so many impromptu donuts. I remember Bigger the Better (I think) saying all trucks come with 2 Hard, 2 Medium compound tyres when I stated I had 4 hard.
Let's put it this way, I bought this 'used' and the PLONKER who screwed it together can't bloody read!! :nono:
If you look at my truck on one side you'd reckon it had 4 Hards on, if you look from the OTHER side, you'd reckon it had 4 Medium on - 'nough said!!
2x Hard on one side (handed glued tyres remember), 2 Medium on the other.
They're all studded now!!
