Its an entry level rig with blah performance and little aftermarket support. Really once you've ran a 5ive platform you won't look twice at a dbxl. Being what it is, it's no wonder there are no other options for it.

Thinking about it like that sean I have to agree with you on your statement. The dbxl is just that plus I kinda wonder if they sand bag it so it won't outshine the 5t and 5b.

The rcmk version of it is what losi should have put its name on. Then the 5ive b would have disappeared over night imo. Even the 2.0 pales in comparison, even if they did fix a few issues.
