I've got a chance to trade some stuff and a little cash for a losi dbxl , not very familiar with this thing , any input is greatly appreciated , I already no the value of buying one , it's a fairly good deal but is the truck any good once bounced around ? I don't know , HELP ! Before it's gone
 
Doesn't sound like a bad deal i would do it.
I always liked the size of the dbxl not to big not to small would be great to play with when you don't want to bring the big boys out. Plus doesn't seem its costing you much to get

Depends on what's been done to it. There are a few mods that should be done straight off to it, but I did like how mine was running before selling it off. It's a good bit smaller then a 5ive platform. Just need to keep in mind aftermarket support is limited, and they like to kick pins from time to time if not fastened properly.
 
Don't have pictures of it , I'm trading a Kraton 6s and batteries and $100 for it , I saw it running and up close , didn't know it was for sale at the time , thing looked new to me is why I was interested , love the body style , the only buggy I have is the vekta5 , still pondering the deal
 
For what it's worth I wouldn't pay more than $400 for a DBXL. If it's hopped up than 50% of the upgraded parts value added. IDK what your Kraton is valued at.
 
I just sold mine as a roller for $400.00 with the pipe and a bunch of upgrades. The mostly stock comes seem to ebay in the $500-600 range with the upgraded ones going for a bit more.

I remember, missed out on that with my lowball $350 offer. ;) My thought is yea $500ish on ebay but after shipping fees and time invested that ebay figure drops a bit. Yours I'm sure was in tip top but after buying my baja and having to replace so much little stuff I think I got ripped paying $380. Just have to go into a used rig expecting to put money into it.
