@Clubin Thanks for that, how does it hold up to jumping and bashing with the stock suspension arms? I see rpm makes some parts for it, also anyone change out the front steering links to aluminum?.. I guess at this point from you guys from running them what have you broke and what have you upgraded

The arms are perfect. No need to upgrade. I never thought rpm was a upgrade though. There are people that like rpm but with our cold winters rpm plastic is brittle. So personally I’d suggest a pass on rpm. But…..:I’m running a set of rpm’s on my hpi 5t and never had any issues. But that’s only summer bashing.

I’m running the aluminum traxxas links on mine. Never had any issues there.

Steering servo on the other hand has lots to be desired. This is what you want.

I’m running the 845 in 2 of them and the 1155 in th castle x-maxx.

I lied. I don’t have a stock one.

1- hobbywing 800kv max 5
2- castle 1100 kv xlx2
3- castle 800 kv mmx8s

Pics of widemax compared to standard in there too.

Anything that tickles your fancy let me know.

These are the vitavon gear set.

8-10 min out of batteries. Of course depending on how you drive. My batteries are smc 8000’s hard case.

Gearing with the 800 25/30. 1100 20/35.

My favorite. Hmm. I’m going to
Say either of the 800’s. The torque is unbelievable. Plus the 800 will run way cooler. The lower kv is lower rpm Higher torque.

Gotcha, I'll definitely leave the stock motor for now but how much of a difference in how it acts now vs the stock setup? I know there's gotta be a noticeable difference lol but I'm curious if more torque and lower speed is just as fun

Any of mine are still way faster than stock. And standing backflips any time. Pull a wheelie at 40 mph.

Modded vs stock power isn’t comparable.

Stock is fun too. Stock Run times are around 15-25 minutes with the traxxas 6700’s. It’s so easy to bash because it’s light.
You will have lots of fun stock they are very tough!
