I have just received two spektrum batteries but only have a traxxas plug for charging ,what adapter would I need to connect them both

Personally I remove and throw away traxxas and spectrum ic5's. For charging you don't need much, and with a bit of soldering and the opposite connector you can make the adapter, but for running you want a connection that can handle a ton of amps and never unplug on it's own. I've been using castle 6.5mm since they came out just after the mamba monster came out and was blowing constantly ( castle blamed poor connectors and nimh batteries) but the connectors are rock solid and never failed me. There are a bunch more since with good ratings and even anti spark for those that don't like the sound of plugging big batteries in series. But the arc is not a problem and I even reuse my castles repeatedly and they never fall apart

You can easily go on amazon and type in Traxxas to EC5 connector and find exactly what you are looking for. Just pay attention to male/female.

Lol, make sure you look at the actual brass part to see if it's male or female, often there is extra plastic covering and it can get confusing what is going into who. One thing I love about the castles is there is esc or batt molded into the casting but male female on the package

Love those connectors, can be a bit of a pain to get apart. Been very reliable though.
