What did u do this weekend?

So nothing really happened on Friday but Saturday we woke up at 6:30 to go to Cars and coffee, it was great as usual, this time when everyone was leaving it was wayy more crazy than last time but I missed half of it cuz my peeps were complaining and wanted to go, I am alittle pissed that I missed half them leaving but next time I'll make sure I see everything. So after that we went to sum bakery or something, got a donut. Then after that we went shopping. Then we went home and chilled for the next couple hours and slept. Then for dinner we to a Mexican restaurant. And today (Sunday) we just were being lazy cuz Saturday was active. Here are my favorite cars from Cars and Coffee,

I spend the weekend sick. The whole family have been down to the count for a week. I had to take my little 3 y.o girl to the hospital because she got fever tremors. That scared the living poop out of me. Because the tremors were less than 5 minutes in length they were considered harmless but still reason for observation so she was in for a night. I used to be a pretty hard and angry young man, running with the wild ones on the fringes of society and have given and taken my share of crazy abuse. There for the first time in my life I felt fear. I mean mortal fear. To see my little girl with the white of her eyes showing, foaming at the mouth and shaking violently. I have never ever been so afraid, so sad or felt so helpless and alone as I did right there. We are now all out in the light again but damn that was a taxing experience. And I now know what real fear feels like. And let me tell you right now. I am not a fan.

Thanks for asking and giving me this wonderful opportunity to piss on your positive weekend parade and pass the sadness around.

my 3 moth old was just in the er for a bad chest cold. Couldn't hardly breathe. My 2 year old daughter had a cow when they hooked up the iv to him. Had to leave with her. Never felt more powerless in my life. Really sucked. I feel your pain
 
So last/this weekend was my birthday and on Friday we went out to House of Pie's, really enjoyed it. Then on Saturday I did some powerwashing for sum extra cash, and for dinner went out to a pizza place. On Sunday, I finished the power washing that I started on Saturday. Pretty good weekend I must say ?
 
So this weekend it was kinda chaotic, on Friday we did the usual errends and stuff but on Saturday we had a painter/construction worker come over to the house to fix sum stuff since, not sure if I mentioned this, we are selling the house and moving back Chicago in 3 months, then for dinner we went to a Mexican restaurant. On Sunday (today) the guy finished up fixing the stuff and I did sum powerwashing for a 65 bucks. That's really it. Also I had to completely dissasemble my RC room cuz it got repainted ( the walls were pretty bad) so I don't think there will be much working on the Baja sadly, I mean it's not like there's much to do on it being its broken at the time but when I get money for the rest of the build, im not sure if I'll be able to assemble the engine til we move into the new place. No big deal but it's kinda a set back and obviously I'd like to get it finished ASAP but if I can't, it is what it is. Oh also we were doing a ton of packing and going thru our junk and throwing stuff that's we don't need away. Very tiring

Was at the Optometrist all Saturday as I somehow scratch my cornea in my left eye.

Been taking drops all weekend to see if it will repair itself.

I was rough housing with my black lab and this was the result.

So this is a major race weekend. I'm turning into a total couch potatoe. Wec Endurance racing tonight 1000miles Sebring , IMSA 12 hours of Sebring tomorrow and F1 Sunday morning. I'll have 3 hours when I wake up to work on the buggy but I'll be hung over . Oh no wait F1 qually when I wake up tomorrow .
