I use king cobra racing venom castor oil in the gold bottle. Its readily available for me - ross mods is closer than any halfords!!

Fearful, can you tell me can I get any of these oils from happend as there is one close to me.

Not sure of a castor oil near you but this fully synthetic should be fine......

Make sure you get the 2 stroke oil & not the 4 stroke version!!

25/ 1 is safe, people run between 25/1 and 32/1 usually, i heard of people using 40/1,but i will never do that,i mixed my oil wrong once and worked it out i used 18/1,it was underpowered and smoked to say the least.
ive gone from king cobra to castrol a747 myself.this is the stuff that when used right, will keep your engine clean and safe.

i do know people who use the cheap red 2 stroke for £4 a litre, they seem to run fine now,but i dnt know about the long run

Well if the top engine builders recommend and use 927 castor oil then why would you use anything else

Engine Break-in Procedure

New engine break-in procedure

1. Take it easy on the engine for the first two tanks

2. Heat cycle twice, run the engine for 20 minutes and let it fully cool down
3. We recommend 91 octane fuel, mixed at 25:1 Our preffered oil is Castor 927
4. Let your engine warm up before driving
5. Try to vary the rpms during breaking.
5. DO NOT HOLD FULL THROTTLE UNTIL THE ENGINE IS COMPLETELY BROKEN IN!!!
7. Do not use octane booster

Yeah, I'll be sure to steer clear of the real cheap stuff.
Nice1 mate.

Im sure Mike said Ian Oddie recommends fully synthetic so difference of opinions there. At the end of the day find the best quality oil that is readily available near you and stick with it.
