if it's like the killer bee, just route it under the edge of the radio box,gas tank, and come out over the center brace, you have to squeeze it in bettwen the chassis and radio box/gas tank and route it thru the back of the top engine cover, thats where the zip tie comes in place the button, and terminals on the coil and you zip tie the main wire/cable to the engine block and make usre its clear of the flywheel

Thanks Joe! So let me get this straight, I will be replacing the stock kill switch with the super bee kill switch?

now i don't know what comes with the super bee, i have the killer bee v1 and it came with a replacement button already wired,
if yours came with a button wired up then yes the stock button is gone and you connect the one wired to your super bee

Well i started installing the super bee tonight. It appears that I'm gonna have to notch out a hole in the plastic engine cover to run the wire back towards the receiver, as the metal engine shroud fits snug against it. Does that sound right to you Joe? Oh, and it does come with a replacement button.
Can't upload pics through Tapatalk for some reason, can only host them on tapatalk so its grainy.

I just had a blonde moment. I believe that I'm suppose to route the wire behind the plastic motor cover like in this pic...

shouldnt have to cut or notch anything, you have to route the wire so it comes out from under the back edge of cover. take real care of wires not getting anywhere near flywheel. and yes if your setup included a new killbutton you will replace the stock one, cuz the new one has the spade connectors on it for connecting back to coil.

It seems like no matter what I do the filter on the wire gets in the way. Has anyone tried moving it? I only need to move it an inch or so

I figured out a way to route it. I ended up zip tying the wires to the back of the coil where it mounts to the engine. I now have plenty of clearance for the noise filter. Did you guys pull the gas tank to run the wires?

I'm having the same exact issue, there's nowhere for it to go, and the wires coming off the back of the button hit the ignition coil no matter how you orient them.

Then, once you run the wire towards the batter box, there isn't enough slack to install it neatly. I may have to call Killer RC.

The wire is short. I ran it down the entire left side of the buggy and this is how far it reaches...

I spoke with Killer RC, they said by all means unclip the plastic oval piece (EMI filter) and move it down the cable for a better fitment. This would fix all of my fitment issues.
