DID YOU MAKE YOUR OWN RC STAND?

I made mine from a rotating "Wilton Trim-N-Turn Cake Decorating Turn Table - Decorating Stand," which I picked up from Amazon.

I glued it atop an upturned plastic pan as a base. In a couple of the pictures, it rests on a swiveling stool with the padded seat removed. In another, it rests on a table in my rc work space in my garage.

The good thing about the rotating Wilton stand is that it has a convenient locking mechanism that stops it from rotating.

Give yourself a 'thumbs-up' for your rc innovations. PEACE!

I use a bar stool.
Height adjustable and rotates 360.
Very handy at Jack o'clock.

I got an old desk from work and converted it to a mobile work bench. They spin 360 degrees with with a bolt to lock them in place. Its a combination of 3/4" galvanized pipes and other plumbing supplies, a 4" X 4" cedar block to attach the bearing and work platform to the galvanized pipe. I welded some tubing between the legs width wise and bolted 3" locking caster wheels. The Losi's chassis platform is stable, but the Kraken needed additional support with some angle iron on the bottom, and a little more work is needed for both but its just trimming out what I don't need.

Those who saw a previous thread on getting video, the FPV transmitter is interrupted with the ignition system (spark plug) and the aluminum foil acts as a faraday cage.
