Working on the brakes looks hard

I sent an email to Davesmotor asking whether this is 8mm or 10mm bolt mount, because it's not stated in the description.

I think this is the one that I have in the stock G260 engine on my MT5, and it's stated 8mm mount bolt.

If you used it on your G260 engine, please confirm and I'll go ahead with the order.

Edit: Called up Davesmotor and it was confirmed that the clutch #15448 is 10mm mount bolt diameter. I ended up ordering the stock Zen clutch with 8mm bolt diameter instead - Thank You!

Make sure if you removed the gear plate that you set the spacers up in the right spots too.

Not sure how close it is with the stock gear plate?

I'm thinking to grind down the high spot of the brake square that is too close to the clutch plate there. That should still have plenty of an area for the brake pads to sit on. I don't know how mine became too close like that.

What do you think?

Are you sure your bearing is fully seated in the plastic gear plate? Unless you have the wrong large mount it should not be that close from what I remember.

Cub,did you buy the car used? If so check the number of teeth on the spur and pinion if they are odd you might have a Carson gear carrier on it.It just looks a bit different from the FG's I have.
